CReDIT (Common Results, Data, Info & Tools) is CRESYM’s initiative to ensure long‑term availability, maintenance, and usability of open‑source research assets in the energy systems field.

We help partners keep their projects operational, well‑maintained, and relevant over time.

What CRESYM Provides

CRESYM offers twelve services to support the full lifecycle of an open‑source asset:

Listing on the CReDIT portal, visibility among related assets, and links to relevant resources.

S2 — Source Management
Hosting on CRESYM GitHub, versioning guidelines, and managed updates.

S3 — Active Instance
A maintained, compiled working version of the asset, kept up to date with libraries.

S4 — Distribution & Community Support
Public access to source and documentation, community support, and introductory materials.

S5 — Helpdesk
User support through GitHub or email, with responses within 24 hours on business days.

S6 — Software Upgrades
Dedicated development to extend scope or functionalities.

S7 — Debugging
Public issue tracking, diagnostics, and coordination of fixes.

S8 — Installation Support
Assistance with installation setup or wizards.

S9 — Documentation
Development of documentation for developers, users and more.

S10 — Training
Training materials or sessions for users and developers.

S11 — Studies
Execution of studies using the asset and delivery of results.

S12 — Computational Resources
Provision of compute capacity and environments required to run the asset.
