BatMan workshop in Essen
Event Location:
Essen, Germany
Event Description
Last week, the BatMan project led an insightful workshop in Essen, exploring the challenges for grid operations with increasing battery penetration.
The discussion focused on a key question: How can we adapt balancing, reserve and congestion management practices to fully leverage these versatile assets in the energy transition?
A big thank you to all participants for their enthusiastic engagement: Amprion, E-Bridge, IPTO, RTE, Swissgrid, TenneT, Westnetz; and special thanks to UDE for the warm welcome and excellent organisation.
Looking forward to meeting again soon!
